Such a Dark, Tragic Act Serves No End

Such A Dark, Tragic Act Serves No End When did you stop, to pause, only to let go Where was that fateful place you gave up Was it a heart crushed and bleeding deeply so Or lost and thirsty, finding only life's empty cup? What darkness, crept up to enter your bright mind How could you not seek out those you dearly love You my friend, were never the weak, cowardly kind Always ready to fight when push came to shove! How could you, how dare you take your own life Why not ask help from your best friend Life gives us all miseries, worries and strife Such a dark, tragic act serves to no end! I remember the days of our youth, you carefree Future shining so bright, treasure at every turn Wild times, YOU living reckless and wild AS ME We both thinking our red sun to forever burn! When did you stop, to pause, only to let go Where was that fateful place you gave up Was it a heart crushed and bleeding deeply so Or lost and thirsty, finding only life's empty cup? Robert J. Hello Robert!! This is an exceptional write in every respect and the words and verses are indeed quite moving and compelling; however, it's such a tragic and very sad circumstance and story. Regardless, life goes on as you know. It appears that your friend was indeed trapped in a world of great pain and hopelessness. Let us hope now that his eternal soul will now rest in peace. (I'm sorry to hear about this tragic event as well.) Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and you!! Best!! Gary

Thanks Gary. Always tragic when one takes own life. Yet life for others must carry on. The dead feel no pain, no saddened sorrow they rest in deep slumber. Awaiting future judgment delivered tomorrow we each have our number. -RJL
