Stuck In the Middle
I never knew the feeling,
Of the middle of the road.
Life always sent me reeling,
Seldom sat in my abode.
Love strongly for forever,
Hate stronger twice as long,
True happiness and pleasure,
Pain swallows up my song.
Never 'almost' or 'kinda, sort of',
Neither 'nearly' or 'feeling grey',
Just black and white emotion
Not knowing what to say.
I never knew the feeling,
of the middle of the road.
Life has always sent me reeling,
always reaping all I've sown.
