Strike Out, 4 Strikes

Strike One began here Her beautiful aqua blue eyes set the stage. It ended as I feared. She was aware of her deserving more, and drifted away. Strike two began strong. Such beauty and innocence What couldve went wrong? Destiny passed its predictable judgement through this. Strike three was only this: Closure of a dark past But still I miss, the friendship we once had. Strike four was an angel I gave her my heart to gently hold But I must watch her walk by, so painful For reasons I cannot control. Am I but a strike out? Or victim of a cruel fate? I must know now. There isnt much more I can take.
