Storms
~~
Heavy, dark rain clouds are swirling and drifting,
And I am waiting for the downpour to begin;
Furious, angry and oh so violent is the wind,
And in the distance are flashes of sharp lightning.
Oh, there is an enchantment and a fascination,
In storms, the rage and roar, spellbinding;
Thunder and vivid bolts, angrily striking,
While waiting for the deluge in total captivation.
A whirlwind and a clamor of impressive thunder,
Brilliant displays cracking above the trees;
The swift moving clouds bursting above me,
And an assault of rain falls with intense power.
