Have you slept?
To see the darkness before the dawn
Stolen tears they silently wept
That forgotten with moments begone
Perhaps it shall rain
Days becoming but to witness
Yet I see not to one who remains
Your strength may yet be my only weakness
And did the day break for darkness to depart?
Yet shadows but persevered upon brightest hour
Without mind to perhaps move upon gut?
Neither yet were proven wise where reasons falter
Maybe though, twas but a dream
A mere moment and nothing more
Distancing away for nothing to seem
Yet reminiscing for days, for moments to befall
Have I slept?
Was there a darkness before dawn?
Moments stolen they silently crept
Were there tears to once belong?
