Stepfather's Curse
You shouldn't have to make me choose,
Between my kids and him, she says.
It shouldn't fu--ing be a choice,
We should provide enough happiness.
How can you compare me to him,
Compare him to my father.
I'm not too young to understand,
I'm half his age and yet I'm older.
You're selfish, you're cruel, you're really insane,
If you think we have no say,
We lived here with him, survived the rough too,
His fu--ing soul hauts us til this day.
I'm not being ridiculous, mom,
I watched him destroy everything I loved,
And all the while he drank and smoked,
And all the while he laughed at us.
Go on and choose him, if you must,
Go and be happy, if you think you will,
But don't expect me to stay around,
To watch you and the devil sign the deal.
