Stay
The blue hour arrives,
a period between morning and dusk.
Twilight reflects the fading of your love-light
for my heart aches when our sunset weeps.
Hints of deep indigo
and orange bleed across the sky--
the clouds, the ocean, everything drowns
into the horizon--birds and grass .
And I cannot grasp that dot in your eyes,
so lay me down by your rosy leaves
and forget not how we shivered, feverish
when in tears, we vowed to stay, a time eternal.
