With each new time, a deeper sting- Loves sweet mistress is about to bring- Around my heart the cold Winters clutch- And erase all memory of a Springs sweet touch- Each new face a snowflake rains- With itself an array of newly found pains- Regrets, and hope cannot now share- A place inside my wondering stare- Lessons learned and lessons taught- New perspective on life these now have brought- So I'll hold myself strong and tall- And wont admit how hard i fall- And pretend to care what happens each day- Because of the words you didn't dare say- i know the truth, for myself to know- I promise these feelings my face won't show-
