Spring On the Prairie

Wind swept prairie land Across it's southern band The buds of early spring Bring new life to everything The wind blows from the south Melting snow at the rivers mouth Grass turning from brown to green The prairies a pretty scene Crows arrive from their long flight They caw in the early morning light The gentle falling rain Melts the snow once again the suns radiant rays Shines brightly through the day Spring has arrived once more On the Sask. prairie floor.

This is just awesome, I have a story from the newspaper of a 12 yr old great grandmother coming across the prairie. And Indians surrounded the wagons. I have all that history & pictures back to the boat. On his side. I have a lot of my side of family too. going to fav's ;}
