Sound of Silence
Receptive to the pulse of quiet vibration
Quiet, my closest companion sensation
I go down into my silent garden location
Calm and darksitting in isolation
Silence softly speaks to me
Solaces, grasps, I personally with glee
Within the light of the stars truly
Over and above the limits of the earth's whee'
Stillness in the air
Whispers in the wind prayer
Absorb the silence around everywhere
Grasping existence with all its great power
To feel that tune in surround sound
Quiescence is a wellspring of rare perfection found
Knowing the silence and it messages profound
There is a quell, where hath been no hum rebound
Morning sun, nite-time blurring
Serenity of the spirit, of peace purring
First light of the day when nothing stirring
I listen to the twist blow through the trees occuring
Still is the soul ditto mind thrills
The here and now fulfills
My breath develops and my heart stills
It is now, I woke up to hush that silence fills
