Sorrow

There's claws digging into my chest, Squeezing tight around my heart. The PAIN, Forcing tears. My silent grief, As these claws dig into my heart. Hide it away, Cover it with a wane smile. Pretend it doesn't exist, Don't let anyone see. Don't let them see the pain, Even as it threatens to rip me apart. And set me crying, in front of everyone.

"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." It's just much more poignant when you're alone in a crowd and far from home.
