Soothing Sounds
There are just some sounds in this world,
That make you feel at ease;
The soft rumble of distant thunder,
Or the whisper of grass in the breeze;
Sounds like the gentle stomp and snort,
That horses so often make;
All the soothing sounds that you hear,
Whenever you are awake;
It’s anything that grants you solace,
Whenever you need it most;
Like maybe the soft crash of waves,
As you walk along the coast;
Or the comfort that you feel,
When you hear you mothers voice;
It could be anything that soothes you,
And causes you to rejoice;
It could be the sound of a song,
That brings good memories out;
Or the sound of your dad’s voice,
As he removes some of your doubt;
Sounds that can soothe your are everywhere,
In every aspect of life;
Like the sweet way a husband whispers,
“I love you” to his wife.
