Something New

i woke up as a sinner i woke up on a train i don't even remember my own name i got nothing in my pocket i got nothing in my hart but i cant be turning back because the start seems to far and i got something new i got something for you i was caught out by the thunder Shawn on by the light now everything is upside down instead of black and wight and I'm stuck by a million pieces scrubbed out on your page an i can see you looking a i can feel your rage but i got something new i got something for you well its a hundred Miles of one way road and another dead end I'm hoping ill come across someone to call my friend yeah I'm back out on the road fighting the wind and the cold I'm back upon that roundabout where boy I'm getting old and i got something new i got something for you well i never thought id come back and leave that life alone but i don't have that much in common with the wife i got at home
