Some Room for Me

Have you ever had to run and hide?
Thinking by God that you were denied
When heaven is where you wanted to go
But were confined to hell here below.

You were never like all of the rest
Who were so nice and sins confessed
Hearing priest who loves to preach
Who will always be within reach.

Maybe you should change your mind
So you won't have to be left behind
By being thoughtful and true to God
Not being a fool who commits fraud.

God another proven path He'll make
That to heaven you it will take
Leading to best place you could be
And surely save some room for me.
