Part I Trrrinngg......trrrinngg.... Telephone's ring, Heart pounding in her chest Young mother, in panicky haste Stirring sleepy children, jumps off her bed Praying fervently, in night's dead. Photo, his smiling face Her pulses race, Trrrinngg......trrrinngg.... Part II Gun-shots Alerting lost Senses of brave soldier, Dreams of children, doting father, Pines for lovely wife, on icy glacier. Shielded by the blessing showers Foe, he overpowers Silencing all Gun-shots. Yesha Shah 28/05/2012 SOUND OF EMOTION CONTEST Sponsored by: Nette Onclaud

I enjoyed your set of rictameters, Yesha, I am not sure she is allowing more than one of them in the contest. Hope you will double check that, and good luck to you!

Perfect for the contest...but a brilliant read on it's own. It made you see and feel the situations, both.

Wow- the ringing was a shrill chill that ran up my spine. I FELT this one... felt it bad- amazing job. You have all the content here, and then some, asked by Nette. It's hard enough to make a "sound" poem... but to FEEL the sound AND emotion... doesn't get better than this.
