Snow Globes Ii

An arrangement to place upon the shelf, these orbs of light.... While your eyes avert toward the skies, beyond the brilliant blue Smiling, as the encompassing sun, winks and waves at you Pointing unto these astonishing places, creations stories of here and there "Saying, don't miss this~go see that~and, breathe, in the air...." Capturing butterflies, as they flutter all about, colorful, and free Bowing before the alter, while this warmth is poured, lovingly, upon your cheeks Still living in this moment, and remembering the past, yet, longing for eternity Amid the neverending snowflakes, of beauties melodies, chords, of golden strings.... While you gather in the stars, within your silk laced pockets To place them amid the promises, of these silverish dreams Where upon these shelves they shall henceforth lie, never, by themselves Within the days of disappearing lives, the hearts that bleed no more Except, within the here and now, with no visions, beyond this door.... Veering from the snow that falls, these precious ones, that sadly, lost their way? As the daffodil slowly floats along, beyond the horizon, of forevers gone! Gathering flowers and bouquets, sun rays and stars Fluttering butterflies, before a childs eyes, while the waters flow, deep inside, of.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ Snow Globes ~

Lovely and powerful write. Your imagery is great! I love ther idea of gathering sun rays and stars! Thank you for all of your heart felt comments. I read both passages you gave me. I will try to remember those words when I am "down". And yes, Robins do sing, but not very well, unfortunately! I sang when my daughter was born, because I couldn't remember how to breath (Lamaze)! Had the nurses laughing for days afterward! God bless you! (Romans 5:1-5). Love, Robin

My goodness.."Capturing butterflies, as they flutter all about, colorful, and free". makes me think of my sister, Laura. One of her friends had gone to see a medium, she'd said that Laura was a butterfly, happy and free, dancing over the water.:) Henseforth, every time I see a butterfly, I think of her.:) This is certainly a gift to myself! Thank you, John! Merry Christmas...Love to you and yours..God bless! Mikki
