Smoke Screen of the Soul
Hiding the hurt,
Swallowing the lies,
Shielding the pain,
With tear stained eyes,
I won't let this hurt
get to me
Cause all around,
I do see,
The devestation
caused by sorrow,
And with it no other
expectation for tomorrow,
So I'll lay down that smoke,
And dig a deep moat,
Erect a staunch wall
A castle never to fall
Manned with many
a guard tower tall
With dragons of faith
overhead
In defense of our stead...
To a future long and bright,
I toast you tonight,
Should our walls, they to breech,
I can but beseech
For us to die as true men
As the Lord sees us,
to where and when.
