Sit and Listen

Sit and listen, To the grand, Yet morose position, In which I stand. Finding anger, In others joy, Wishing disaster, A will to destroy. I try to break out, Yet I am restrained, There is a doubt, If I am too drained. In broken tone I utter, "Release me from these demons", But I may not recover, Broken men don't forgive sins.
