As the rain falls slightly against my bedroom window,
I pull my covers up and tuck my head in the pillow.
I walked through my favorite shopping mall center,
Heard our special song and can't believe I remember.
When my hubby lost his job times sure were tough,
Cleaning out my purse I found a twenty by my glove.
On my morning walk I passed pretty white lillies,
They remind me of my sister and how she's still with me.
Later when I look back at my day of simple pleasures,
I lay my head down grateful for my simple treasures.
