A warm bath, a cozy bed, a purring cat,
paper and pen to write, a friendly long chat.
A laptop within reach, a cup of hot tea,
meditation, imagination, inspiration set free.
A walk in nature, a stream, birds twittering,
beloved one holding my hand, my heart singing.
A simple life is mine, I need very little,
my vintage clothes, jewels and old books brittle.
A city hike, interesting shops, a quiet church,
second hand stores junky, its all about the search.
A garden in the summer, and pure white snow,
poetry, art, books and sweet memories that still glow.
Simple pleasures are all that this girl requires,
and I am very happy and have all this heart desires.
