Silent Lady Strange
I don't know your story
Silent lady strange
When I look into your amber eyes
All your fears are exposed
Innocent in all things
As pure as white snow
To the world you are perfect
To yourself you are a joke
You have your own thoughts
Intellectual in your mind
Afraid to speak any thought
For your family you will shame
For women are meant to be seen
Never to be heard
Like a priceless porcelain vase
Sitting prized upon a shelf
You pretend everyday
While keeping to yourself
Silently screaming inside
On your words you choke
One day silent lady strange
Your thoughts will turn to words
Millions they will flock to you
To them you will mean the world
