Sight In Death
His piercing eyes had hints of grey that
Disappeared behind the evil blue.
Those eyes had controlled her, but
Not now.
Those eyes were faded, they now stared off
Into the top of the ornate coffin.
She opened his prison, with a feeling of greed,
And let herself be drawn in one more time.
It didn't matter that she had killed him, she
Hadn't won.
His dead eyes watched her close the lid back,
And she felt it.
