Shining Like the Dawn
M-ake it shine like the dawn,
A-llow your life to glow;
R-emain firm and faithful
I-n the midst of sorrow.
N-either hand touches dirt nor both feet go astray;
A-llow your mind to think of true and righteous way.
M-ake it shine like the dawn
O-f the day in good weather;
R-aindrops cease to fall
I-n twenty-seventh October.
L-et your soul serve the Lord,
L-et negligence be gone;
O-nly the obedient child is shining like the dawn.
