Shine

Shine I awoke with the sun upon my face. I took a refreshing shower and decided to enjoy the sun and watch people walk by. What a beautiful day. I said hi to people passing by, some would stop and say hi back, some would ignore me and keep going. There are others around me with so much natural beauty and they get all the attention. I decided to stand tall and try to be noticed, I stood as tall as I could, gave my best smile. Then something happened. Someone stopped and smiled at me, I was picked up and as I looked back and stared at the others, I waved bye to the roses, see you around tulips, so long daffodils. I am a sunflower and this is my day to shine.
