She
fresh from the grave she stands
looking down upon the batterd lands
whispers a voice no man understands
the dawn is calling her
rest neeth the willow trees
from dawn till dusk she sees
brought brave men to their knees
watched kingdoms rise and fall
she is the girl you held last night
she is the ship that passed you by
but dark as sunlight is bright
still nwipe your sad eye dry
a fall from grace you lay
like a bet you never payed
all hopes are washed away
and dreams are lost in the wind
a lost highway she will walk
knew more than you forgot
she is a key to every lock
and with a gift to give
round the world you think the world is spun
and the age of man has just begun
what ae you hidding from
when you got nowhere to run
