Serpentine

Serpents under blue light Vitality estranged I lay across an angel But this is all the same Regard my careful feelings As words that don’t exist But if you find them stalking Run before we kiss Serpents guard my patience Lust holds up my face I walk beneath a rainbow But only for the taste Remember your deception Place it over me Filter out my scheming There’s nothing much to see Serpents in the twilight Serpents in the rain A snake summons your weakness And leads me to your pain Serpents intertwining A serpent calls your name Take one step and follow Well this is all the same

I believe quite frankly this is my favorite work done by you...Your words are still yet so powerful time after time, leaving me quite in awe at your quite talented lyrics. Your Angel of Music-:)

I can't believe there are not RULES for punctuation and capitalization in poetry GOD! there are always rules for everything. As much as I'd love to believe it I don't. Perhaps if we'd made our names and were e e cummings who apparently hated Caps? Ok enough blither. I always enjoy your verse finding it thought provoking. Light & Love and Happy Holy Days and yes London has changes so much in the past 20 years but so has NY and the world.

Wonderful expression... '...I lay across an angel,' '...but only for the taste,' - unique phrasing. BRAVO my friend! Best wishes, Keith
