ABSOLUTLY SPLENDID and what I thought going through my Mom's old photo's when she passed. The last verse is perfect and love that it kind of says, that try as we may, even the photos go away! SUGGESTION: 4th couplet...maybe a better word to rhyme with torn? Forlorn? Old one's forlorn...In album torn? Something like that but on and torn don't rhyme.

I think more than 4th couplet gives the touch of the ancient! All the first lines begin with "Old", 2nd couplet has "ancient ways", & last one has "ancient old wits"! ITS JUST LOVELY!

Dear Edlynn: Thank you. Glad this poem delighted you. Yes, I agree that the rhyme in the 4th couplet does not sound right.
