Self (Terzanelle)

With introspective eye (that once was blind), to inward turn and see the darkest sides and see at last the light thus intertwined. Transparent hope, evasion so provides; to not require the lifting of the veil to inward turn and see the darkest sides we hide at all expense, in all detail of mastering, and pushing love away to not require the lifting of the veil and never grand illusions to betray; ‘tis nothing sweeter than the bitter taste of mastering, and pushing love away until the years, the life alone I faced… I look upon the days I nearly lost ‘tis nothing sweeter than the bitter taste of knowing I alone shall bear the cost! With introspective eye (that once was blind), I look upon the days I nearly lost and see at last the light thus intertwined.
