Seat of My Soul
In the seat of my soul
There are jellyfish in a rainbow creek
In the seat of my soul sits a little girl
Whose eyes are still full of stars
Who never knew life was hard
Where anything was possible
Knights in shining armor
Fairies on unicorns
Damsels in distress
All can exist
In the seat of my soul
Where magic is real
There was a heart
Never a hole
Wisdom came with age
Not pain
Not tears
Not fear
In the seat of my soul
I hold all the rainbows
Know where the flowers grow
Dance down the path of my mind
Through the dark labyrinth
Hoping to again find
The seat of my soul (C) mjr
