Seat of My Soul

In the seat of my soul There are jellyfish in a rainbow creek In the seat of my soul sits a little girl Whose eyes are still full of stars Who never knew life was hard Where anything was possible Knights in shining armor Fairies on unicorns Damsels in distress All can exist In the seat of my soul Where magic is real There was a heart Never a hole Wisdom came with age Not pain Not tears Not fear In the seat of my soul I hold all the rainbows Know where the flowers grow Dance down the path of my mind Through the dark labyrinth Hoping to again find The seat of my soul (C) mjr

exemplary poem, Michelle. Very well done in this introspective write. You have managed to put in words what we all know is there in the beginning. It is still there as it was created to be..just hidden and buried. You have done well to exhume and explain this JOY that is in us. This Explosion of Joy that created us and is in us as His Image and Likeness. You got me going here Michelle with this fine poem of yours. Thank you for sharing it. -Robert

Beautiful write. Sounding like it has come from a woman who is warm, extroverted, and happy. Keep the creative and magical pen flowing. Sara
