Seasons of Life

When I was a child, I played and I romped Went to school, did things kids do I was a tomboy, played cowboys and such This season of life, I loved so much When I became a pre-teen, things changed for me Somestimes life isn’t fair, you see There were hard lessons to learn, its true I found I was going to be hurt in this world This season of life was hard on this girl Then I grew to be a young lady of sixteen I met the man of my dreams, he is the one God gave to me He asked me to marry, and this I did This season of life was a really good thing Then we had three sons, each a year apart This thrilled my soul right from the start I wanted to be the mother they need This season of life was scary to me As I grew older and the years flew by I knew something was missing in this life of mine I had all I needed, or so I thought In this season of life, I learned I was lost And I learned that freedom came with a cost My Savior died on the cross for me He forgave my sins and set me free He made me a new creature, and so you see This of life is eternal for me! ©written by: Mrs. Geraldine Rose 3/28/09
