Seasonal
The warmth of the sun,
Beats down
On the days we remember,
Love was warm,
Love was tender,
Bursting forth
Like trees of great splendour,
Growing together,
Love surrendered,
With kisses sweet,
When daylight greets,
Walking through fields of wonder,
With darling buds,
Where sweet smells linger,
That’s where! My darling! We’ll meet,
Under the sycamore,
Shades from the summer heat,
Burning down love,
With the greatest of hunger,
Until the long days end,
And the wet days send thunder,
The summer draw nigh,
With autumn day skies,
Where will, our love come to meet,
When darkened skies cry,
And cloudy days weep,
Withering their leaves,
With winters so deep,
And the sun far asleep,
Where can our love grow?
When the hoarfrost covers,
Shivering light winters snow,
Love that keeps icy fingers warm,
Huddled together,
With burning flames of passion,
Special times!
Through the seasonal flow.
