Starfish hands splaying within,
playing in my heart's harbour;
a tiny mollusc, rocking
in my body's boat.
You sailed from my skin;
loosed from my womb's safe mooring,
the port of my arms;
adrift, receding from reach
on my heartbreak horizon.
