Saving Face
Saving Face
A man in Northern China has divorced and sued his wife
For their baby born was ugly and that had caused a strife
The mother was a beauty – most said she was a ten
The father quite good looking – that’s where he did begin
He said the kid was not his – she must have fooled around
He had someone look into her past and this is what he found
Although she was good looking, before she met her mate
She had extensive work done and used that as mate bait
She had not been unfaithful; she was faithful to the core
She looked just like the baby, at least she had before
She had simply failed to tell him just how she looked back then
Maybe just a three or four and certainly no ten
He claimed his wife had gotten him under false pretense
The judge that heard his story said that it all made sense
Divorce and compensation granted in the case
Of the ugly little baby and a man who would save face
True story
