Saturday
Sit back, relax.
Put on Jason Mraz
Hot coffee, cold weather
Lethargy clouds the air
like the dizzy smoke
from Larry's dope.
The window is The Window
to the world outside.
As is moves and slides
at its rushed and blurry pace.
It's a slow day, a day to
forget the distress
and become fearless,
feel quite careless.
For once.
The week has done
its worst and none
of us will hurt
the quiet, blurt
our troubles,
pout for pity.
No, not really.
Cos it's Saturday
and that is the day
to sit back, relax
and put on Jason
Mraz.
