Santa's Naughty List
Santa’s Naughty List
By Elton Camp
“He’s making a list, checking it twice
Going to find out who’s naughty or nice”
Santa once could arbitrarily decide
Who to praise and who to deride
Then, toward him, people felt sentimental
Now he is being condemned as judgmental
Where he once could tell at a glance
Now he must consider the circumstance
Nothing now is classified as right or wrong
There’s no further need to sing that old song
Once the naughty were as guilty as can be
Now them are merely victims of society
So Santa gave up keeping a list last year
A stocking full of coal no kid need fear
