Sang Such a Lovely Duet
Sang Such a Lovely Duet
When my grand-child I had been dressing,
From God came and truly was a blessing
Who in my life became a permanent part
And I always knew it from his very start.
Each tear drop I did see from both eyes
Always wanted to and made me realize
My glory peaked our and reached its height
Which was at very top both day and night.
As I closely caressed him in my each arm
Protect and keep from each fear and harm
As well as each blemish and possible hurt
While I will watch his each growth spurt.
Someday soon he became similar to me
Humble, handsome, and full of humility
With a great voice in all of its entire
Perfect that did please a complete choir.
Death will cause me to die and us separate
Yet together in heaven will be our final fate
And again there after we two have met
What we did was sing a lovely duet.
