(inspired by ROTK,from my LOTR poetry collection, Frodo sadly saying good-bye, to Sam)

Don't you worry about me,Sam, With them,I'll be as happy as I can be. We'll make it far away to the sea, Sailing from here to there,you'll see. This long road must I take now, Awaiting us is the Elven's white ship. Somehow I'm certain that we'll get there, To the "Undyng Lands", we'll happily go. So many things I need to know, Things, to make my heart again aglow. It's been so long ago for me, Since clear layers of rainbows, I've seen. Today I join this journey very sad, Hoping, that one day you'll join me too. Without you, I'll sailing soon the sea, But one day,we'll be together you and me. Hello tnks for findimg my poetryand for leaving a comment on mine in this big bowl of soup..and I am glad I read this beautiful poem which transmits the sad feeling of goodbyes and the hoping of meeting again which gives it a blend of emotions,and a positive ending.Awesome!

I felt this poem Dorian. I remember the scene and this poem brought out the meaning of friendship between sam and Frodo. very heart felt.

Dear Dorian, There is a sweetness and an affecting sadness in this poem that I find touching and moving. Congratulations on an excellent composition (wish I had written it).
