Rush Forth Oh My Soul
O! Rush out my soul
Bound out of my mortal body
Climb, climb forth O! my soul
Climb the steps of time on wind
Like an indeed free bird fly
Like a star position yourself in the sky.
Shine, smile, O! my soul smile to the world
Let your radiant rays reach men's souls
The secret of your joy to them unfold
Let their heavy heart feel faint like a drifting feather
Shine like indeed the brightest star
Always with men but ever far;
Fly forth O! my soul
'Cos joy's seed has been planted in my heart
O! my soul go merry merry
'Cos I'm indeed free verily verily!
