Rock and Roll Royalty

I want to be a famous rock star
I want to play an electric guitar
I want to sing like Freddie Mercury
I want to be big as AC/DC

I want to grow my hair out long
I want to write a song
Just the way Lennon and McCartney did
I know I am just a kid

With a dream in my heart that will never die
But I cannot just sit by
And let my dream slip away
It is time to seize the day

A star is all I want to be
I want the whole world to know about me
And I want all those recording labels to see
That I am Rock and Roll royalty
