River of Time
Endless Days and Centric Tales
A clock that’s frozen, its purpose failed
A change of pace and a constant flow
The Great River of Time, sluggish and slow
Stuck in place as the Time ticks by
The changes unfelt, the crystal sky
The pain has been stilled, the wounds semi-healed
In between worlds, a tarnished seal
As I watch the sky, the clouds never change
The wind always blows but never re-arranged
The people I walk by but never truly see
In this unchanging world, full of mystery
