Return To Memory Lane

Alas Johnette! you seem to think that memories are of no importance But know that it always depends on the circumstance If the past is the place where you had your best dance Wouldn’t it be wonderful if in going back you have a chance? I do not intend to raise your eyebrow But wisdom is something from the past we borrow What we are now is something from the past we owe It is actually the reason why we grow I do agree that everyone must face the morrow Even if what faces us is an arrow But the past even if filled with sorrow Is a good place to look back to gain wisdom and strength for tomorrow
