Rest Awhile

Consciousness I slip into the unknown With clutches to my covers A breath so slow and mild The book that did read Here are the words I have compiled That’s left me to intrigue As I sleep a bit in wonder May the deepest part of me fall under? I’m taken to place With mystery, and in space The only time I rest A part of this aching quest Is in suspended consciousness
