So philosophic. Thankful for kind reminders, as I move on down from 65; and ponder remaining years.

Kim, this blew me away. Love these thought provoking poems and I am really in a mood today to contemplate life's journey. You capture life from its tentative and hopeful start to its inevitable conclusion. As we get nearer the end, I think we wonder how well we lived (how well we scored). Thanks for another beautiful poem. hugs. Janece

I was comparing her to the dreams, she is sailing but also shining, in my mind! You got the lyrics exactly right, Catie!!

I like this - not trying to solve anything, just taking life for what it is. Love, daver

life is choices, one after another, each one has cause and effect, and yet sometimes people become blind to the cause and effect, as though whatever was chosen never affected anything...it's hard to admit a choice was wrong..and yet we all make mistakes..that's how we learn...loved your poem...these were my first thoughts after reading.

Kim, your writing is always so clean. I mean, sophisticated and right on with the meter and rhyme. Shine on, silver girl! (do you know what song that is from?) Now I need to see The poem that inspired this one.
