Hi David. Your poem seems a mixture of sweet memories and bitter thoughts or maybe acceptance that two people should go their seperate ways. I liked the way you expressed it all and the wayyour poem reads. Though I am left feeling sad.But to me good poetry does arouse emotion in some way to either make us laugh or as you have done to touch our hearts. Love June(Sylvia)
