Julia's theme coincides with my obsession with a new popular song called Cake by the Ocean. Check it out!

A new guy I’d met said to me,
“We ought to have cake by the sea.”
As he gazed in my eyes,
I did not realize
He spoke metaphorically.
A tiny bikini I wore
That day we strolled down to the shore.
No cake did I see,
Which seemed odd to me
Since cake was the thing I’d come for!
He’d hidden it. . .. That was my notion.
I went with him into the ocean.
With a smug attitude,
He said, “Let’s get nude.
Let’s roll with those waves; make some motion!”
I told him, “No way I’ll get nude.
I don’t even know you well, Dude!”
He leaned in for a kiss
Which I tried hard to miss,
But he GOT me. That guy was so rude!
Returning at last to the beach
(which I thought that we never would reach),
He said, “Don’t act funny.
Just give me some honey.
I think you’re as sweet as a peach.”
I said, “Where’s this CAKE anyway?
In your car? Is it hidden away?”
He said, “Here’s a clue.
The frosting is YOU.”
I was mad; hardly knew what to say!
He wasn’t my type. The mistake
Of sleeping with him I’d NOT make.
I said, “Have you no hunch?
Girls just wanna have lunch!
I regret just one TASTE of your cake!”
