Reflections

From the shadows of our soul--the past reflects within Sometimes the fear still grows the reflections of our sins In the rivers of our past our memories fade away But the faith within it lasts--until our dying day There's a lesson to our misgivings --we are not alone Our lives that we've been living are just a stepping stone Time is the essence --the faith that lies within Reflections of our memories--the places we have been There's a language we all know through the words that we all say The truth it lies within our soul, only God's love can show the way Our hearts are our only friends through the language of our soul Echoes fade into the darkness as the night it grows so old There is no turning back as our memories remain The voices in the shadows fall like faces in the rain But in our hearts we must be strong and live from day to day Be willing to admit when we are wrong and go our separate ways
