Rebirth Into Christ
When my life was in shambles
I came to you
With my faith, I don't gamble
You knew just what to do
You convicted my heart
Laid to rest, my suspicions
Caused my fears to depart
Turned my tasks into missions
You infused my soul with a brand new spirit
Suddenly I had reason to live
I couldn't see you speak, I couldn't even hear it
But I received what you had to give
I was terribly sick before you lifted me
I bowed down to the world surrounding
Once elevated I could finally see
The depth of the water of which I was drowning
On that day I died into your servant
My final chapters rewritten
What I exalted before, no longer a deterrent
Your glory left me humbled and smitten
