Reality From Dreams

You try to turn around But find it hard to move You woke up in this place Thinking it was still a dream But now you're starting to doubt it. You see a figure in front of you Emerging from the nothing You cant see its face You cant tell what or who it is But you know that your worst nightmare Has just been discovered. It keeps coming but you still cannot move The darkness circles around you In a taunting fashion You know you are doomed So why not turn and face the music? That is because you cant turn In more ways than one You can't change your thoughts You can't change your looks You can't change you But you know that you deserve what is coming So with one last 'you' move You give up And the darkness takes hold. It wasn't a dream.
