My first drop will come in a sudden knocking on your window pane
for I feel you in my heart crying and calling out his name
with misty eyes
if you’ll glance at me once in a while
and curl up yourself back to bed with your louder cries
I’ll hurl myself by the wind against your sill
strum strings of sweet songs to sense what has gone amiss
melodiously drops… then s s

Just out there
and at your somber roof
again, I drop
knock
drop
knock
drop
pause a while
hoping
waiting…
If you will finally step into our glassy rendezvous
my scented charm wafts around
redolence of my balmy petrichor embraces you
heals the wounds
and mends your broken heart
Let me cry with you,
wash all your tears away
till my cool breeze drains them up
May I be one of the stewards
to continuously nurture you and this earth
by pouring down God’s loving graces and divine love.

Just a try of the contest
First rain of June poured down around 5pm this afternoon and lasted only 30 minutes. So it’s still humid today in my place.
