Quote Me Rumi

QUOTE ME RUMI Plant me in the garden next door. I want to be a man no more. I don’t want to have pain in me. I don’t want to be me with me. I don’t want to see the world as such; Sorrow, hunger, unjust too much. I want to kiss the breeze at night. Running away from the pain and plight. I want to bloom colors and dyes. Seeing the world with less despise. I want to bathe in rain and dew. Immerse myself in love, renew. I want to feed the birds and bees. Be the reason for lovers to please. I want to be a man no more, and do the things I‘ve done before. 11/28/15 Haloo 11/28/15 Haloo “Yesterday, I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today, I am wise, so I am changing myself” Rumi.

Amazing Rumi, his thought, poetry and yours nourishing from, as I understood. Indeed , the whole Occidental philosophy is an attempt to change the world. Relation between existence and knowledge, the chance of understanding and explaining the world and the search of its meaning. The Oriental mind understood this utopia and chose means to change man . Both attitudes may bring utopia even when imagined new morals and ethics. Perhaps, the only justified one is based on hope (and love, of course).

Actually no, however, since joining Poetry Soup, I did explore some of his writings along with other famous poets, to understand the depths of their work. I found his work to be very inspirational.

Thank you! But do you know the shape of a raindrop? Do you know how complicated the falling of the rain drop is? with surface tension and the rate of acceleration of the gravity. How stretches and flattened it gets during the fall? Raindrops are actually shaped like the top of a hamburger bun, round on the top and flat on the bottom. Just something to think about... cheers
